Car rental…airport…shuttle bus…Mccarran Intl. Airport??
In a few weeks,I'll be heading to Las Vegas.No relatives of mine live there so I'll be on my own.The hotel reservations are made and so is the car rental.This is my first time renting a car from Hotwire.Well,renting a car,period.I'm not familar with how it works.
Can you help me out?
After I get off the plane,where do I go to obtain my car?

Things have changed at McCarran airport for car rental in the past few months. They recently opened a brand new car rental facility just south of the airport and all of the agencies are now in one place. They also no longer have shuttles for each individual company. There is just one airport run shuttle that serves all companies. When you get off the plane, go to the baggage claim area and follow the signs for the rental car shuttle.

Head towards baggage claim and there will be signs pointing you in the direction of the car rental agencies. It is very simple and easy to find!

There is a car rental counter at the airport. They also have a shuttle to any off airport place out in front of baggage claim. The counter by baggage claim will tell you where the pick up point is.

there are counters near baggage claim for all the car rentals. they all have a shuttle that will take you to where the car rentals are parked. You really can not walk to where they are parked. It is to far with luggage and not really safe cause of traffic.

If you are just staying on the strip- cancel your car rental. You won't need it in vegas, it will just sit on the parking garage the whole time. Just take a cab or shuttle to whatever hotel you will be staying at.
